The Death of Freehand?

OK, check this out: Macromedia launches their new suite of graphics apps earlier this week, but for the first time one application is strangely missing—Freehand, Adobe Ilustrator's only real competitor. So, since Adobe's buyout of Macromedia is supposed to be completed this fall (hey, it's already August—how far away can "fall" be?), it appears the obit for Freehand has just been printed. Hmmmmm. Makes ya stop and think, don't it? ;-)
