TIP: Temporary Layer Unlinking in CS2

So let's say you a bunch of layers all linked together, and you want to move one of those layers without unlinking it from the rest of the group (in other words, you don't want to break up the whole group of linked layers, and then have to go and relink them all over again). Just hold the Shift key and click directly on the little link icon that appears to the right of the file's name. A red "X" will appear over the link to show you it's temporarily unlinked. To relink it once you're done moving it, just Shift-click on the red "X".
