TIP: Speeding Photoshop's Launch Time

This tip isn't for everybody--it's for people who either (a) create custom patterns for use with the Pattern Stamp Tool, or (b) load custom (or extra built-in sets) of patterns to use with the Pattern Fill Layer Style (if either of those made you go "huh?", it's probably not you). Anyway, I found an article that shows the simple step-by-step procedure for purging any extra custom patterns, which can significantly speed up Photoshop's load time. I tested this by simply unloading extra pattern sets, and reloading just the default set, and it sped up my launch time considerably. To read the article, click here.
