NEWS: Defending Aperture

Apple's pro-photo workflow tool Aperture has taken a lot of heat since it shipped late last year. In fact, so much so that Scott Bourne has posted an article in defense of Aperture called "What the Critics Don't Get About Aperture" where he points out Aperture's strengths and where "The critics went wrong." Mr. Bourne runs a Web site called Aperturetricks.com, so he's obviously a big Aperture fan (and quite honestly, there are a lot of very slick things in Aperture that have been overlooked because of some of Aperture's other shortcomings), so it's worth a read to hear the other side of the story.
