TIP: Selecting Similar Layers

One thing I love about Photoshop is, you can always learn something new, and I just did, thanks to a tip from Anne Marie Concepcion in the latest issue of Design Tools Monthly. The tip is for quickly selecting all layers in your document that have similar attributes (for example, instantly selecting all your Type layer, or all your vector shape layers, etc.). You do this by clicking on the kind of layer you want to select all of, then go under the Select menu and choose Similar Layers. That's it--it then select all the similar layers. Kudos to Anne Marie and DTM!
