TIP: Frustration-saving Type Tip
This is a tip I learned from my buddy Matt that can keep your from pulling your hair out when creating more than one layer of Type. Here's the problem: if you've already got some type on a layer, and you grab the Type tool to create some separate type, Photoshop always seems to want to add to your existing text layer, instead of letting you create a new one (especially if your type size is really large). Matt's solution: Just hold the Shift key, then click and start typing. That way even if you're clicking close to the existing type, it creates a new separate layer. Try this once, you'll use it again and again. "
