TIP: Setting Your Filter Gallery Defaults

Each time you open a Filter that opens in Photoshop's Filter Gallery, it opens with the default settings Adobe programmed in there. But you can create your own custom defaults so every time you open one of those filters it's got your favorite settings already in place. Just open the filter, put in your favorite settings, then hold down the Command key (PC: Ctrl-key) and you'll see that the Cancel button changes to Default. Click the Default button and from then on, that filter will use your settings as the default.
