NEWS: Photoshop Torture Test Actions
I saw this over at MacMerc.com: Jason O'Grady has put together a couple of Photoshop Actions to help you test (benchmark) the speed of your computer running Photoshop (similar to what Apple does during their keynote presentations). There's two different actions, and they put Photoshop through a bunch of torturous processor intensive tests, so you can see how your machine stacks up. wow, i ran them both on my mac mini and the kaleidoscope test ran in 1:01 and the enlargement one ran 9:40. It definitely tortures your system. but it lets me know where I stand. Ill run it tomorrow on my pc and my laptop.
